Jerusalem Natural Stone

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions builders and homeowners ask us most. Anything else, ask us on WhatsApp.

Do you ship to the United States and the Gulf?

Yes. We ship crated stone by sea container to major US ports (Houston, New York/New Jersey, Los Angeles, Savannah) and to Jebel Ali, Dammam, Hamad, Shuwaikh and Sohar in the Gulf. We can quote door-to-port or door-to-site.

Can I get a sample before ordering?

Yes, and we recommend it. Natural stone varies in tone, so we send physical samples of the stone and finish you choose before you commit to an order.

What is the minimum order?

It depends on the destination and the stone. For export we usually ship full or shared containers; tell us your project size and we'll suggest the most economical option.

How long does an order take?

Cutting and finishing typically takes 2 to 4 weeks after the order is confirmed, plus sea freight: about 4 to 6 weeks to US ports and 1 to 3 weeks to the Gulf.

Is Jerusalem stone suitable for cold or hot climates?

Yes. Dense Jerusalem limestone has been used for centuries in hot desert summers and freezing mountain winters. We advise on the right density and thickness for your climate and application.

Can you cut to my architect's drawings?

Yes. Send the drawings or a list of pieces and we will cut cladding, sills, copings, columns and special pieces to size, numbered for installation.

How accurate is the photo visualizer?

It gives a realistic idea of color, pattern and scale on your own building, but screens and lighting vary. Always approve a physical sample before ordering.
